Staff Retreat
This weekend we had our staff retreat at a very nice restaurant that overlooks the ocean. The day started off with a fun activity where we learned about different personality types. David is "orange" which means fun/adventurous but also flaky/unorganized. Michelle is "blue" which means caring/compassionate but also mushy/bleeding heart. We had fun with it and took it with a grain of salt. Then we moved on to a section that was more pertinent to teachers but we found some of it interesting as well. It was all about learning styles and how to adapt to them in the classroom. We then had a wonderful lunch with endless food of every kind. Then it was off to the pool for rest and relaxation. This will be the last time we get a weekend off for quite some time now so we enjoyed every moment of it.
